About Us

Missouri District Ladies Ministries is an extension of the Ladies Ministries Division of the United Pentecostal Church International.

We attempt to promote and implement on a district level the various programs introduced and supported by National Ladies Ministries such as:
  • Daughters of Zion prayer meetings
  • More to Life Bible Studies
  • Mothers Memorial, an annual fundraising effort.
In addition, we sponsor an annual Ladies Conference and a bi-annual Ministers Wives Retreat.

Our Committee is made up of Sectional Leaders from each of the 11 Sections in Missouri, and our President, Joann Thornton, and our Secretary, Barb Braswell.    The Committee meets several times a year to formulate plans for Ladies Conference and Mothers Memorial Fundraising efforts.    Each Sectional Leader coordinates events in her Section promoting Mothers Memorial and works together with the Pastors Wives to assist them with the various ministries that Ladies Ministries sponsors.
