Missouri District Ladies Ministries sponsors a Ministers' Wives Retreat every other year. This retreat is designed for the wives of licensed ministers and women who are licensed ministers. The retreat is a time of spiritual renewing, physical relaxation, and relationship building. Our next retreat will be held in February 2011. More details coming soon!
Our last retreat was held February 26-28, 2009 at Windermere Conference Center near Lake of the Ozarks. Our Ministers Wives Retreat was a beautiful, quiet get-away time together. Judy Doughty from Mattoon, Illinois, ministered in Word & in friendship to all of us. There were over 40 ladies in attendance and we were encouraged to see women from ages 20 to 65 there. Elder Ministers wives mingled & fellowshipped w/ younger women just getting started in their ministries. The last day brought a snow storm which delayed many, but all the women finally arrived at their homes safely.
